Description:

Have you always dreamed of riding a beautiful horse on a picturesque beach?...

Have you always dreamed of riding a beautiful horse on a picturesque beach? What about exploring the jungle in a very eco-friendly way? Make the very most of your time in Puerto Viejo by joining an exclusive horseback ride along one of the most incredible, and undeveloped coast of Costa Rica. Our tours combine both Beach and Jungle and range from relaxing rides, perfect for families to private rides for more experienced riders. If you prefer quality over quantity or poorly maintained horses, then our Horseback Riding Adventure is for you. Your guide has a life long experience with horses, our horses are all healthy, well fed and taken care of. Security is our main concern, and we are the only stable to offer helmets and back protection. We have special gentle horses to accommodate children from 6 years old on. We also offers special package such as swimming with the horses, honeymooners special, wedding events...Just ask!

My wife and I had a wonderful time on a 90 minute beach and jungle ride with Oriana. Beautiful scenery, monkeys, sloth and birds - so enjoyable! Oriana is a skilled and knowledgeable leader and took great care of us. I am not a very skillful rider and I found this ride great fun. I highly recommend this experience for... More

My daughter and I did the afternoon hour long ride. The horses were beautiful, well trained and gentle. Knowing that they had also been rescued from bad homes - and are now clearly being well taken care of -was a bonus. The ride along the beach and through the forest was spectacular. Highly recommend.

We took the 2.5 hour beach and jungle horse back ride with Jimmy (who also had Theresa helping since we were joined by another couple). Jimmy is a really interesting guide and guy. I suggest you keep him conversing, as he is a wealth of knowledge about the sights (yes, sloths and monkeys) and the culture of the area.

My daughters and I went on a riding adventure with Oriana and it was absolutely amazing. Before we even mounted the horses, Oriana spotted a spider monkey in the Jaguar Rescue Center land nearby, and we watched it put on a show for 10-15 minutes. The ride itself was incredible - a combination of walking on the beach and through... More

We met our guide Teresa where the horses were hitched outside the Jaguar Rescue Center. The three of us rode across the road to the beach and followed a trail that wove in and out of the beachside forest, sometimes walking in the shallow breakers to navigate around trees crowding the beach. Along the way, she pointed out a number... More

My daughters and I went on a 2 and half hour riding tour with Caribe yesterday. The owner was very attentive to my girls making sure they had helmets and riding vests. As we rode through the forest she made sure my girls were having an enjoyable and safe experience. The 2 and half hours we all spent riding together... More

The pictures and reviews speak for themselves. We felt very well taken care of and experienced a very passionate host who gave us a great chance of horseriding for the first time ! Thank you once again, this was among our best things we did on our vacation in Costa Rica.

I haven't been horseback riding in years and was nervous about the tour at first. Once meeting our guide and the horses though, all my worries were put to rest. The horses were extremely calm and friendly and our guides knew exactly what they were doing and how to handle the horses. The tour was 3 hours long and took... More

My wife and I (seniors w/o riding experience) wanted to try the jungle and beach ride. My wife was very anxious. Jimmy picked us up at our hotel and took us to the start of the ride where we found the ever so personable Oriana waiting. Oriana had rearranged her schedule so that she could give us a private ride,... More
