We arrived with a group, but Alvear winery was gracious, patient and gave a well described talk of their wine-making process. The hundreds of barrels aging in storage was quite a sight. Worth a stop if it is on your route.

Good winery with a very good and informative guide. Tresa is a nice and patient guide and taught us lots of things about wine. It's good for children as they serve non alcoholic liquors while adults taste wine.

Hi! I just saw your message, hope I'm not too late. There are buses from Córdoba to Montilla every hour or so and Montilla's bus station is a 4 min walk from the winery and the city center. Don't forget to visit the Inca... More
