SSI Open Water

Me and a friend did the 3 day SSI Open water course and SSS Phuket Dive and Surf Center and are beyond happy with our experience. Staff was welcoming and helpful, helped us pick the right course for us and gave us different price options, we opted for both the beach dive and boat dive and felt it was the perfect way to step it up gradually. Our instructor Lea was so friendly and was ready to answer all of our questions, felt like we were diving with a friend by the end! Thank you!

Perfect day with Manu and Ned

I booked a private excursion to Racha Yai with Manu and Ned to end a Thailand holiday that myself and a large group of friends were on. The trip was absolutely magical and could not have gone any better. If you're thinking of doing the same, you cannot go wrong with SSS - They're the best reviewed on here for a reason!

Manu and his brother Jean were extremely patient whilst I tried to organise the details of the trip (getting this info from 23 people was not easy!), provided equipment, organised food and minibuses, and made recommendations for what to do on the day. Two of our group wanted to SCUBA, and Manu and Ned were more than accommodating to allow this to happen.

We ended up going to two snorkel sites and spending some time in two bays on the island - Bungalow and Siam (recommend visiting Bungalow Bay as early as possible to avoid large droves of tourists that turn up from around 10am onwards). We also had a little walk around the island with Manu and Ned being our guides (saw some monitor lizards!), and we sat down to eat in Siam which was absolutely perfect and like something out of a holiday brochure. The food that Manu & Jean had arranged went down a treat.

The day was perfect and these guys are super knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend SSS for any excursions you want to do whilst in Phuket.

Private Snorkelling Tours to Racha Yai

We engaged SSS Phuket for 2 days of private snorkelling tours in Racha Yai and Racha Noi.

Pre-trip, Jean was professional, honest, and responsive in his WhatsApp communication.

Ned was our guide for the 2 days and it is obvious he is extremely experienced in diving, as well as knowledgeable in the ways of the seas. He gave great advice to ensure a smooth snorkelling experience, and even taught my entire family the bare basics of freediving (which we thoroughly enjoyed!). He knew how to read the winds and currents, and steered us to calmer waters to snorkel. Best of all, he is great with kids - encouraging them on and keeping a close eye on my youngest child.

Lastly, he pointed out the names of the aquatic life we saw, and for a reasonable fee took fantastic photos and videos of us for keepsake :)

Would strongly recommend SSS Phuket Diving.

It was an incredible experience! Completely changed the perception I had of diving. Our instructor Olivier was AMAZING! Took it slow, helped us understand buoyancy better, and took some incredible pictures for us!
We arrived thinking 2 dives would be too much, ended up booking a full day trip 2 days after!
Would highly recommend ❤️

An absolutely amazing experience scuba diving and snorkeling!

I didn’t know where to start and how to pick a scuba diving trip in Phuket so did a bit of research before deciding on SSS Phuket. We were a family of four with two newly certified divers who had done the open water certification in April in Sydney and had not dived again since and then two snorkelers. After contacting Jean-Brice and asking lots of questions we chose the Racha Yai day trip. My daughter and I were the scuba divers and both of us were apprehensive and a little scared as we had never done a boat dive either. We were so lucky to be allocated Ned as our instructor for the day. His knowledge and expertise immediately made us feel self and in good hands. Our first dive was a refresher and gave us a chance to refresh our skills whilst giving Ned a chance to assess our capabilities. He provided us some excellent feedback and additional tips and then the second dive was simply amazing. Ned also took some amazing photos of us underwater which I just love. I finished the dives with total confidence back and cannot wait to scuba dive again in Australia with the Great Barrier Reef high in my list. Thank you so much Ned for making us feel safe and reminding me why I learnt to scuba dive in the first place. I also would like to say the scuba equipment was in excellent condition and the crew on the boat were so helpful and added to the positive experience. The food was great, the boat was extremely spacious and well equipped with toilets and both indoor and outdoor space.
Snorkeling was also great fun!
Highly recommend SSS Phuket.

ROMAN - Amazing Dive Instructor!

Roman was an amazing diving instructor. My partner and I recently completed our advanced open water diving certification and he was outstanding to dive with. He also had excellent knowledge of the fish in South East Asia and the local waters and reefs. We were picked up from our hotel and enjoyed a delicious breakfast and lunch on board the fantastic boat before being dropped back at our hotel, which was all included in our dive package. Would highly recommend SSS Phuket Dive Centre especially with Roman as an instructor.

Amazing experience. Ned was our instructor, my mum and myself had never dived before and Ned made us feel so calm. He was so patient and his years of experience really showed. Top guy and would 100% book again! Amazing day!

***** What a day and what an experience *****

From start to finish the Dive team was amazing, but I've got to give a big shout out to my diving Instructor Ned, this guy is a legend ! I've done a few scuba dives with different diving Instructors while on holiday in different locations but I've got to say Ned was informative and patient and a funny guy.. As soon as I jumped into the water for some reason I started to panic, Ned new straight away what to do with me and chilled me out, I've got to admin the current was strong and it was tough going. I wasn't sure about my second dive and after Ned gave me a debrief and told me where I need to improve and after a bit of banter I was back in the water and I had an amazing experience, thanks for a great day mate and thanks for the laughs and banter 😂

Fantastic instructors and organisation

We had Oliver and On as our instructors and they were FANTASTIC! With 2 kids (11&13) who had never dived before they were patient, explained everything clearly and did your company proud! The photos they took were just brilliant!
Thank you for making our kids 1st diving experience a day they will never forget!
The day was organised well, a lovely breakfast with 2 dives and a yummy lunch!
All the crew on the boat were great and friendly and helpful!
We would 100% come back and use your company again!

Best scuba experience!

Today’s scuba experience was absolutely AMAZING!! Could not have been happier! Our drive instructors - Ned and Ohn were nothing short of perfect! They were helpful and so kind in helping us through our first dives! They inspired us so much we spent the boat ride back researching getting certified to scuba more in the future. Cannot thank them enough!
