My husband went for an elephant ride; I am pregnant and not allowed to. He said the elephant was hit to obey to take a picture with him. They are chained down with very short chains and some have sores on their heads (I have no idea what from!!). The staff have a bit of a bad attitude. I wish... More

Sorry that you see make you feel down, but we must chain them because they are not like dog or cat or some thing like that. Before I review... I just wanna say "WE LOVE ANIMALS" and at first, we were apprehensive of whether to push through with this or not as we are against cruelty to animals. However, we researched and discovered that these elephants are better off in this habitat that in the wild as they will be poached and there are no enough... More

Grew up as a boy reading the "Tarzan" & "Bobo", I always wanted to ride "Tantor" & pet "Bona" so much. Easy to book, with a spacious & AC'ed pick up van arranged. Price is at the high end but absolutely linear to the experience. I'm riding with my wife & my 3 y.o son. The view is breath taking,... More

My boyfriend and I were excited to see elephants in Thailand and to experience riding one. I guess we were ignorant because they do not treat them kindly at all. The elephant was walking slow and eating vegetation on the side and the guide took out a stick with a metal pick and was whacking the elephant as hard as... More

This place is horrible, the elephants and chained tighly to the ground and in some cases the legs are chained togeather so they cant walk at all. Expensive as all hell and just down right wrong. Try the elephant santuery instead, ita not to far and the elephant are great to be around are are generally more happy.

Im generally reticent of this type of tour, but the Elephants were in great shape, the guide was really friendly and helpful, and when you took in the great views, over all it was a lovely afternoon. We took the 50 minute trip.

During our recent trip to Thailand we decided to stop for some elephant trekking. After checking on Trip Advisor we decided to stop here and we were not disappointed. The guides were amazing with the elephants. Very caring and we felt there was a real bond between the handler and the elephant. We did the 50 minute ride to the... More

Excellent view of water on both sides, gave the elephants a rest at the top, then guides got off with our phones and took pics of us riding solo while they gave elephants voice commands. Ice cream and t shirts plus other souvenirs for sale at bottom. Reasonably priced shuttle to and from hotel, was very prompt and everyone was... More
