Kok Chang Elephant Trekking Safari in set on a beautiful ocean viewpoint...

Kok Chang Elephant Trekking Safari in set on a beautiful ocean viewpoint where the dense tropical jungle overlooks Kata Noi Bay. We offer various jungle routes riding on these Majestic animals from 20 minutes, or to the summit on 30 minute and 1 hour treks. Fully trained and experienced guide handlers will take you and your family through the dense tropical forest along paths and trails from the southwest corner of the beautiful Phuket island stopping at scenic beauty for photographs along the way. Get lucky and sit on the elephants neck. Children and adults are encouraged to stop by the banana kiosk to observe and feed the Elephants, there is no charge. This is a great photo opportunity and you can even touch the elephants trunk.

A few things are clear here. Firstly, this isn't an over busy tourist bee hive, secondly tickets for this place are direct only. ..no touts etc. .. its authentic for good and bad reasons. The facilities are nice. .Nice bar. .. Nice loading bays etc. .. easily accessible. .. and the prices are brilliant. .. treks for 600 / 800... More

WE loved this experience on our honeymoon-we did the full hr trek so we could go through the jungle and see the ocean. It was excellent. Guide to plenty of pictures. Only negative was guide kept mentioning a tip over and over, which was overkill.

If you book a tour (eg- Elephant Rides, ATV Rides, Monkey and elephant show) you will most likely have a driver pick you up from the hotel. These can be booked from any of the travel agency stands on the street. This will save you a 400-500 baht cab trip. The staff were friendly, funny and easy going. The atmosphere... More

It was amazing to be on the back of an elephant. First time in our life riding on an elephant. It was a good experience of our trip. Don't get scared about riding on the elephant because there is a man to guide the elephant where to go.

The handler took us on a trek over looking the ocean and he took a bunch of pictures of us. He also pointed out a couple of MASSIVE spiders in the jungle... More

COming to Phuket one must try the elephant trekking. It is usually combined with rafting and ATV. The elephants are well-trained and apart from the fact that you may feel sad for them being used for this purpose, its one way to be close to nature. The elephants take you through a rugged ride through the rainforest with the mahouts... More

Nice to get up the hills a bit away from the beach for a change; the kids loved it here with a 30mins trek. The guide was great with the elephants and we saw no evidence of mistreatment. Our guides chatted to us around the trek and took about 300 photos at a pre determined view point. I found the... More
