After spending a lot of time researching the elephant treks on offer, particularly as we had heard lots of stories about the mis-treating of the elephants. We decided to visit Kok Chang after the reviews. We were a bit taken aback when we first arrived as the conditions didn't look great but still accepted that keeping elephants is not ideal.... More

Our elephant was called Boon Mi and she was the cutest thing ever. She was 10 years old. Our guide was very professional and safe. We rode on the seats at first but then we moved on to the front, and Boon Mi was very welcoming. Highly recommended for a day out trip!

I took the half an hour ride as it is located right across from the Tiger temple and next to the go-carts. They fit me straight in and I was on a large elephant. It was peaceful and fun and after a short walk the worker lets you ride bare-back on the top of the elephant and takes lots of... More

Out of all the elephant trekking safaris, this is by far the best. The elephants are looked after so well. We did not go here with a excursion company, we went off our own backs. They are a very relaxed company and all you do is call them up and tell them you want to go on a trek and... More

This was a new experience for us, but one we will remember. it's not everyday you get to ride on an elephant through the jungle. The elephants looked as though they were card for and kept clean. it knew the route as much as the guide and was not too fussed about is being there. We specifically chose this one... More

We went along so the kids could ride the elephants and was well worth the trip. We didnt see any signs of animal cruelty, all the elephants looked to be well looked after. The guide even jumped off and got me on the elephant riding while he took photos.

Fun thing to do. It is a nice way of spending 30 min. The trek is not that impressive but riding the elephant is. The animals look like they are being treated properly but with places like this if you doubt, do not do it.

We had a lovely time, we were 2 adults (800 baht each), 2 teenagers, a pre-teen (400 baht each )and a 2 year old (free) for a 30 Min safari. Split over 3 elephants, my two year old and I on one elephant, the rest two per elephant. The staff greeted us in a friendly manner, the camp itself is... More

An elephant ride is something you can try once, so be aware not to choose an unprofessional elephant park. This one is a medium level one, not excellent, but cheap and safe. Nothing special. Choose 30 minutes ride, it's enough for have the experience done and the elephant will thanks you not to have an heavier duty...
