Very clean and well managed Zoo. Though there are not much animals, Everything is well maintained. You can spend quality time with your kids there. There is very well maintained acquirium within the zoo which is another attraction within the zoo.

Went with friends after bunking second half of college. I believe the company of friends was more interesting than the place. they kept two to three animals also in cage. It's a vast park to take a walk

Now known as the Dehradun Zoo. Under some construction with significant upgrades in progress. It is new but there are many types of animals & birds there is also a park cum garden. Allover amazing............

Yes. Entry ticket is required. But you can easily skip this place as it is just a waste of time. Entry ticket charges should be around 50 rupees or so.
