Colonial , vintage, historic, and reminiscence of the by gone era .. these are the cliches that come to my mind and then some like serene,quaint , peaceful all things beautiful ..a must visit if you really want to see what actually Dehradun looked and felt like....before it became the capital town and capitalism took it over and changed it... More

I have been to FRI twice or thrice and it has been an enjoyable time. FRI has a very serene ambience; once you are there you fall in love with the greenery and the buildings.

First we were not sure about this place. But it's a worth to visit it, Architecture, Gardens and the Museums. You may find first one a bit boring, but other 5 were too good

The FRI is an institute of the indian council of Forestry , Research and Education . It is located at Dehradun in Uttrakhand .It is 7km from Clock Tower, Dehradun. A perfect spot for a picnic. You can walk along the scenic roads, sit in the enormous grounds and have a good time. Perfect for photos.
