We picked up a book in The Cave, in Eymett square, written by Caro Feely. After trying the wine there and reading their book we instantly wanted to visit the vineyard. We opted for the family friendly lunch with the walk and wine sampling. It was a really lovely experience! Very informative and learnt about biodynamics and the effect of... More

Perfectly balanced from the comfort of the wine cottage to the wine day with pairing lunch and two days of walking, adjusted for the 39deg weather. Caro is a natural communicator with a clear passion for her subject that has me thinking hard Stay if you can but go anyway if you can't

My girlfriend and I spent two and a half days at Caro and Seans vineyard and had a wonderful experience. Caro was good enough to ferry us back and forth from the train station and also organised accommodation at a beautiful guesthouse, La Queyssie, which was perfect for what we needed. Our stay involved a mix of wine tasting, walks... More

Stayed in the Wine Cottage at Chateau Feely & loved every second of our stay. Caro & Sean are amazing hostess & host of this Organcic, Biodynamic vineyard. Their trip involving the purchase & belief in their journey is summarized in Caro's very well-written & inspiring books "Grape Expectations" and "Saving our Skins". We were SO relaxed there; would spend... More

My parents, my partner and I recently returned from a wonderful week long stay at Caro and Sean's vineyard, Chateau Feely. The trip was a treat for my elderly parents who used to travel regularly to the Dordogne when they were younger, but due to the long drive and their age they haven't been able to visit the area for... Highly recommended. This is an experience a little different from what the other vineyards offer in Bergerac. There are a number of different options available . On this occasion we chose the pairing lunch. Caro is such a good host. She is friendly and welcoming and really knows her stuff. The experience is a mixture of learning, tasting, eating and... More

It was a great pleasure to meet Caro and Shawn, and to have an idea of their project with the vineyard as well as of their belifs on biodynamic wine making. Caro also came to the nearby station to pick me up. They organized a tour of the vineyard explaining all technical details, varieties and value added of organic and... More

We arranged a tour with wine tasting and the food pairing lunch as a family as part of celebrations for my dad's 80th birthday. Caro was extremely helpful getting everything arranged in advance from afar. Her enthusiasm is infectious and her knowledge is very extensive. We tasted several of the Chateau Feely wines - we all had different favourites but... More

Having read Caro's wonderful books documenting the ups and downs of establishing their winery, I really wanted to see it first hand. We signed up for the two hour morning tour, but begged to be allowed to stay for lunch, we were enjoying it all so much. Caro's passion for the vines, and for organic agriculture is inspiring, and you'll... More
