Great day out!

We were there on a boiling hot day so it was a welcome relief to discover so many shaded areas and walkways. The animals looked well cared for and the highlight of the day was the seal display which was well worth seeing. Great day out for all ages.

Nice zoo but where are the animals?

The zoo is nicely finished : the paths are paved and the vegetation is abundant. Some shows are organized, mainly with sea lions and birds. The main disappointment is that many animals were not visible. Was it due to the bad weather this summer? Not sure…

Great Experience, Especially the Polar Bear

This is a very modern well laid out zoo with most of the enclosures having a large amount of space and some giving a sense of the environment the animals would live in in the wild such as the wolves.

The Polar Bear was of particular interest as there are very few places in the world that they can be viewed in captivity and because of the large glazed areas it was possible to get relatively close.

A wonderful experience.

Had a great day here. The animals were easy to see, most of the walking had some shade or cover so you did not get too hot.

There was so much to see you would need two days to really enjoy

took 5 kids aged 2 to 10, plus their parents. there’s enough to do and see to kastca whole day, so turn up early, you could even get a two day ticket and not be bored. the mighty polar bear swimming 6 inches away was the highlight for me, but there are rhinos, hippos, giraffes, chimps, black panthers , white lions, white tigers, and many lesser animals all kept in spacious areas by a team that appears to be utterly committed to conservation and animal welfare

Surprise stop over - loved it

We were looking for somewhere to stop and break up our trip down south - gave this a quick look and reviews and route looked good.
Arrived around midday on a School holiday Saturday - no queues although it was busy. Parking is free and only a short walk from the entrance. €60ish for 2 adults and a 5 year old. Tickets came with a little map of the zoo.
Plenty of animals to see, even if some of them were hiding from the the lunch time heat.
Our favourite was a very playful polar bear.
Highly recommend this Zoo. Great day.

Great zoo. A great variety of animals. Try to catch the feeding times of the Polar bear and Sealions. Take a picnic and stay all day. There are lots of picnic areas.

Good zoo, not great

This is a lovely zoo but not the best in the area (ZooParc in Beauval is significantly better).
La Flèche is under capitalized and could really use facilities upgrades. Enclosures are good, however, and the animals are obviously well cared for.

Whaou it was amazing during two days.
One Day for spectacles and finding with zoo keepers. My favorite is free flying birds. The second Day to see thé hidden animals.

Superb zoo

Three generations had an excellent day walking round the zoo. The giraffes were the highlight but another time we’d skip the sea lion show.
