Disgusting attitude from the owners in regards to disability. Will never return!
Oct 2021 • Family
We attended the Halloween event with our children and our registered Assistance Dog last week and were granted entrance. 15 minutes later, once our children were already playing happily with friends we met there however, we were rudely evicted from the farm because the owners had failed to look into the legislation that protects Registered Assistance Animals. They claimed only Guide Dogs for the blind were protected, which is not the case, and admitted to evicting another family two weeks before too. We were humiliated in front of friends we were with and other families. The excuses given changed multiple times as we tried to correct them before we were gas lighted with rubbish arguments that our dog was the problem when she was not. We were allowed, after I pleaded with the owner not to completely ruin the day we had paid £50 (though they did offer a refund if we left immediately) and driven from Newcastle for, to attend the pumpkin carving session since telling an Autistic child that they have to leave when they are enjoying themselves is far from easy. Once there were were subjected to more of the same gas lighting, the dismissal of our same sex marriage as “friendship”, and the comparison of our child’s Autism with his own child’s deafness as if it did not compare, from the second owner. When he encouraged our Autistic child to enter the haunted house, knowing he was severely Autistic and reluctant to enter, we trusted that it would be appropriate but it was absolutely not and this resulted in our son being terrified, having a meltdown and running to escape and me getting hurt in the process of trying to crawl through small tunnels trying to rescue him and getting hurt. Between the embarrassment, subjection of both myself and my wife to passive aggressive rants about our dog, homophobia, pain and upset we left with crying, hungry children (because we couldn’t re-enter the part of the farm where the food is) and my wife and I were both so upset I’m not ashamed to say I cried on the way home too. Since we have reported their unlawful actions in regards to the eviction of our Assistance Dog, the management have now said we are welcome to return with our dog (at our own cost though as there was no offer to refund us at this point) when the farm re-opens after the winter but I will never step foot in the place again even if it was free. The farm itself is lovely but it was very clear from the attitude of both owners that there is no empathy for or education about children with ASD involved in their business practices and as someone else pointed out, the entire place is not disability friendly at all. The ground would never take a wheelchair, the tractor and barrel rides are only suitable for those able bodied and none of the park equipment is suitable either. There clearly just isn’t enough money in being disability friendly.

We had a playdate here with friends and loved it. Easy to book and when I had to change my booking due to unforeseen circumstances they were very helpful.
Animals seem to be happy and healthy, lovely petting experience.
Great spaced out play area and tractor and barrel rides were great.
My kids loved the quad and go-kart.

Great day out !
Jul 2021 • Family
We visited here and it was just lovely. The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was and there were hand sanitizer and sinks everywhere. The animals were obviously well cared for which is the most important thing in any of these places. We went on the tractor ride and the guy who did it was so lovely really friendly and we had a great chat with him. We didn’t eat at the cafe but again looked lovely and clean. Definitely recommend!

Beautifully maintained with a play area or animal at every corner!
SO much to do and it looks wonderful. There's clearly been a lot of care and thought put in to the farm. It has a lovely calm feel about it too.
The tractor ride and commentary was fab and the barrel ride a favourite!
We were there 10--3 but could've stayed longer!
New toilet block and lots of sinks and sanitiser everywhere.
Lots of clean picnic benches too.
Thank you for our Brill day out!

Fab day out
Jun 2021 • Family
We usually go to adventure valley but it was fully booked so booked here half the price - it’s a fab day out for the kids and we got tickets for a free ride on the tractor each and a free barrel ride each we didn’t have to pay extra for this - we paid extra for the quads and little go karts but not much - the cafe was lovely and I have to say the 2 young girls working today were lovely and so helpful - Kids loved it - it’s smaller than adventure valley but plenty to do and see for us we had a lovely family day out x

A lovely, relaxing day out
Apr 2021
We visited today on the reopening and were not disappointed. The staff, especially Catherine, are very helpful, the animals were all really happy to greet us and the play areas are just a joy for our young grandchildren. I would recommend buying a seasonal pass, which may seem expensive, but if you plan to be a regular visitor, is certainly worth it.

I took my family here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. There is many things for the children to do and can also feed the animals.

Lovely day out
Aug 2020 • Family
We booked an entry slot on a whim as our 6 year old loves animals and the farm was close to our holiday home.
We had a lovely time. The animals were all lovely- especially the cheeky donkey and the brown & white pony! The play areas were amazing too! We all enjoyed the informative tractor ride too.
The toilets were clean and there was sanitiser/sinks around the farm.
We all enjoyed our day out.

Great little find
Aug 2020 • Family
We came with our 15 month old child who loves animals. There are plenty of animals to see and playgrounds for young and older children alike.

Booking online was quick and simple and tickets get you access to the site all day and free tractor ride. This was a great find and a lovely way to spend a few hours out the house.
