The David Hall is known as ‘the small hall with the BIG reputation’ for live performance in Somerset. We are a friendly arts centre in the rural location of South Petherton, just off the A303 near Yeovil. We programme the best in Folk, Roots, Blues and Acoustic music as well as Film, Dance, Theatre and Community events.

First visited the David Hall during 2018 folkfest. What a fantastic venue. Great lineup and good to see such a good venue in a village location. Popped in to our first PPS film last friday too... Another hit.. great film, lovely people to help us...More

Having visited TDH a few times for a range of gigs and community events, I have found a warm welcome by the volunteers. There is a good range of artists and companies that have visited including some acts with high profile. Great acoustics for live...More

The venue is great and the musical performances are of such variety and a really high quality. Amazing to have a cultural centre in the heart of rural Somerset that matches esteemed cultural venues in the UK's cities!
