Once a formal garden built for Peter the Great, this popular park still has more than 80 of the original marble statues and sculptures and houses Peter's Summer Palace, a simply designed two-story building that now displays many of the ruler's own artifacts.

Well, high season review... This time, the crowds and tour busses with seniors can only be taken into account in this review as they influenced our whole day. First of all: the gardens are nice, but we were not flabbergasted. Still, nice for a stroll...More

Very interesting palace. It is smaller than most other palaces but just as interesting, and the gardens are fantastic.

Obviously a must see but didn't expect the park to be so magnificent and fun with lots of sly follies and amazing vistas. The location on the Baltic is breathtaking and the smaller palaces very intimate. Suggest a tour behind the cascades and in the...More

Once again I cannot express in words the awe that I felt when I visited these sites. The historical value is not to be missed.

Amazing the fountains and all the gold and amber in the palace. where did the russians get all the gold from? I think the poor people suffered to pay for it.

If you're in St. Petersburg it is definitely worth the day. The castle is beautifully rebuilt - it was destroyed by the nazis - although a little too new and too shiny, but time will help.

A few miles from Saint Petersburg is the Palace and Gardens of Peter The Great on the Baltic. It's a combination of Palaces and gardens seen all over the major European Cities like Vienna, Paris or elsewhere. The Gardens and fountains remind me of the...More

Not to be missed. Fountains breathtaking. Inside opulent. Use Alla tours to get a complete historical perspective.

The architecture of the palace is beautiful but the interior is similar to the other palace in St. Petersburg. Just go see the fountains and the park.

Spectacular fountains and water systems. Lovely walks and views. Such a treat to be able to walk to the sea even on a windy day.

Paying for the hydrofoil only gets you the hydrofoil ride---yes, you still have to pay for everything else. We were there in May 2016. When we bought our hydrofoil ticket we HAD to purchase a return. We guessed how long we... More
