If you have the opportunity to visit these islands of tranquility - literally - so close to the crowded spendor of Peterhof, the opportunity to take a deep breath and relax is well worth the time. The furnishings in the Tsarina's Pavilion are precious, and the gardens are lovely. Don't miss the little submerged art installation on the south side of the causeway between the islands.

The place is very nice and can be enjoyed during your trip to Peterhof. Though fair weather restrictions apply.

Very slow service and poor organization of the process. Buying tickets takes a lot of time, then you need to stand in another queue at the entrance.

A spectacular view from any angle although from the bottom looking is best. The fountains start at 11.00 with music don't miss it.

Although the pavilions do look very nice, but it is impossible to separate them from the park and fountains. The entire area looks beautiful, especially on a sunny day. You may consider enjoying the pavilions from the distance and walking nearby.

Very impressive; beautiful grounds - lots to see. A fair amount of walking but it could be broken up if desired.

Built firstly for the Tsarytsin and the second for daughter Olga, the area is known as Olga's pond. Connected (now) by causeway these two island getaways are close by the immense Summer Palace but, at the time of building, islands in an area of woodland with the church of Sts Peter & Paul nearby. The buildings are beautiful with quite a story to tell, the gardens are immaculate and the statuary provocative. I commend a visit and engage a guide whom you can understand - the storytelling is part of the intimate fun of the place. Oh, yes: be wary of the many stairs.

We were lucky enough to visit these islands in lovely warm weather and it was just idyllic to wander around with an expert guide arranged as an optional excursion during our river cruise.

Journey to the city of St. Petersburg is not complete without exploring the Olga’s and Tsaritsyn Island Pavilion. I had about the place when I got to St. Petersburg and I ask one of the indigenous to take me on a tour to this place. Absolutely beautiful scenes
