Nothing special except that it is at the boarder when one drives into India, usually Darjeeling. Some good fruits and vegetable are available and lots of road side hotels for food.

Not really worth a trip there...
Lots of small stands selling the same goods. Typical bazar fir surrounding villages to come sell produce and buys supplies. A bit disappointing though.

We went by road from India, crossed into Nepal with our ID proff, our Indian car was allowed inside after paying Road Tax, the Market, was good, be careful on remake or duplicate items.

I keep visiting Fikkal bazar to buy hard cheese and Tea. This is the best place to find varieties of tea for tea testers and tea lovers.
