Cloudy and Mark proved to be a wonderful team to take us on a full day adventure in Doubtful Sound. An early start meant we avoided a crowd and were able to kayak in relative seclusion. It is wonderful to have the big boat available...More

We had an amazing day with Cloudi and Mark! They are so knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining, professional, and just really nice guys. We were blown away by the logistics that go into this trip, which totally explains why this day of kayaking is a bit more...More

I cannot recommend you do this highly enough. Lovely day with small ,friendly, family run company. Small tour group and the guys were clearly passionate about the sound. The dolphin pod followed us around for 3hrs swimming round the kayaks. Easy kayaking, this is the...More

What an adventure! We loved the whole experience. Great guides who have excellent knowledge of the area and local plants, animals, geology, etc. Small local run business, 100% support them. The trip is a wee pricier than Milford Sound and should be considering the logistics to...More

It’s an early start and a long day but well worth it to experience the tranquility and awe inspiring scenery of Doubtful Sound. This is kayaking at it’s most magical. Mark and Claudie were a great team ensuring we had the best experience possible -...More

Very peaceful in the Doubtful sound. Pin drop silence except your own breathing or if some one starts to talk. Better than Milford sound.

We booked a Kayaking trip months in advance. When we turned up for the adventure, which coincided with the akepler Run, there were only the 2 of us and another participant. So it’s the just the 3 of us, the boat driver and our guide...More

I had barely kayaked before and was a bit nervous about this whole day kayaking experience. It turned out to be one of the best (if not the best) memory of our NZ trip. Our guides (Cloudi and Meghan) were amazing, fun, and helpful. Doubtful...More

One of the best kayaking tours i've done. Doubtful Sound is so picturesque and peaceful. We were basically the only people out on the water, felt like you had Doubtful Sound to yourself compared to how busy Milford Sound gets. Trip started with a scenic...More

No, not that I am aware. It’s very limited access - you have to drive, take a boat, drive some more and then another boat to get to the sound. It’s remote and the weather can change in a heartbeat. They guys know where and... More

Same. We did this tour last month and it is definitely guided and you stay in the group. It is possible that you would see more of the sound in a cruise, but this experience can't be beat. It feels as though you have the... More
