Marousi, as a suburb of Athens, is certainly greener than the centre but even for locals this park is a great place to escape. Just off the main Kifisias avenue, it is easily accessible by bus from downtown (or by metro and a short walk)....More

We have been visiting the park for about 15 years. When the children were small, it was perfect for cycling, basketball, soccer, picnics, collecting twigs, pine-cones and wild flowers and following around the turtles who live there. Now we walk on our own, taking in...More

It is next to a road with a lot of traffic but inside the Alsos it is very quiet. It has a lot of big and small trees, lakes, a gothic church. It is very beautiful to walk in there.

This park remains native and it is ideal for the neighborhood people to have a walk in the trees. A must for relaxing or do sports in the Athenian suburbs.

No; it's a wooded park. It's great for strolling or running or dog-walking but not for playing any kind of sports.
