Not enough information about our entry tickets.
Need to get their act together. We decided to pay extra for VIP conservatory and general admission.
Parking wasn’t clearly advertised. No signage for gate 5 that was sent on an email the night before. U turns, asking traffic people etc. Drove into VIP parking that was great but apparently not for us. ( restaurant tickets only) anyway we parked and walked straight in , no ticket check ! After paying over $300 , I was surprised - we just walked in!
Conservatory room was good, outside table and chairs ( very limited) and grassed off area.
Antipasto included , drinks normal prices for events. ( eg, small can of gin $13.
Boiling hot day but the conservatory is shaded so great. People had their own chairs and picnic rugs and stashed in food /drinks . ( You do get checked at the gate) .
Would do this ticket again to sit at this spot. Come early to get good seats with table .

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate your feedback and understand that navigating the event for the first time can be confusing. We regret any lack of clarity regarding entry tickets and parking signage, and we will be reviewing our communication processes to ensure smoother arrivals in the future. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the Conservatory experience and found it to be a great spot to escape the heat. Your insights about seating availability and food and beverage options are valuable, and we’ll take them into consideration as we continue improving our VIP offerings. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to welcome you back for another great event in the future!

Visiting our youngest son and his husband in Melbourne we went to Rockford wines for lunch taking our English son and his family with us. The food is exceptional and the wines superb. Not forgetting the gins which are just superb. Well worth the visit. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. Thank you all.

After our visit to the Healesville Sanctuary, our excursion took us to the Rochford Wines in the Yarra Valley. It is located in Coldstream, Victoria, Australia. We took a tour of the winery and then had a simple lunch with a meat course, salad, and chocolate cake. Nice view of the vineyards. Nice day trip. Friendly service.

We paid just under $1000 for the VIP Restaurant dinner package to see the Corrs last night 22/2/25. This place is a perfect example of money grabbing at its worst. It starts with they never ring you back or never answer their phones, that is a bad start.

Carpark was a gravel track that you should be in and SUV in and not an ordinary car. The food was appalling, waited 2 hours for an entree and main, didn't get desert due to concert starting and no hope of getting it. The food was very small, left us very hungry after it, then have to go and stand in a que for half an hour if you wanted a few bits of fish and chips for $20 that take so long to get. We had to que for drinks in the restaurant, one person serving them, that took 15 plus mins each time, $5 for a can of soft drink, for the money you pay, they could give a little bit, but no profits come first, very obvious, place is completely understaffed in every aspect.

Seating was not good at all, nobody had a clue of what section you were meant to be in, we had people in our seats upon arrival, they argue with you they are right when in fact they are not right, security had no idea what so ever, they told people to sit anywhere and if anyone comes, then move somewhere else, a shambles. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY at this place, there are much better concert venues to go to that are organised, run well, catered for, have customer service, all things this place lacks, Rochford you should be ashamed of yourselves

They should be Roachford Wines it was that bad, I have been here for events and to eat, the event management is appauling, Pre booked Taxis were given away as they could not organize a pre booked and not booked lane, this was a major problem for me as I had been involved in a traffic accident and had a driver I trust and vehicle I could get into, but security forced my driver to take someone else, I had to wait an extra 2 hours for him to return. They need better management for traffic during events, but they seem only to care about how cheaply they can do things.

Some of the events I have been to have been ok, and have have been to many Day on the Greens, but does not make up for the disaster of the last one I went to, never again even if I get paid to go. Don't believe the ticket that says shows go ahead rain hail or shine as one of the ones I went to was cancelled mid show with no refund, Ticket company, Promoter, venue and insurance all passed the buck.

As for the Food it was overpriced and not up to the expectations. I will admit I am spoiled with great food at reasonable prices in the Greater melbourne area and Wines were ok, but my prior experiences left me thinking we could have gone anywhere else in the Yarra Vally to have a better meal. This was the choice of friends so thought I would give them another chance

Dont ever go to a concert at Rochford Wines. The parking is terrible. Its a cow paddock with long grass and has not been levelled, and they charge $20. There was a dreadful smell on arrival from the dam. The ticketing was a shambles with the same seats sold twice all around us. The chairs are little plastic chairs cable tied together. The toilets were disgusting. Ther were no screens for the people up the back. There was no lighting on the way back to our car. Takes over an hour to get out of the car park. Overall a very disappointing day

Hi Wade thanks so much for passing on your feedback. As per our reply to you on Google, we are working to improve the quality of the carpark for future events. We are a working winery so farm and vineyard smells do occur naturally and unfortunately this smell may have been heightened on the day by the heat. There was some confusion around seating as the promoter changed the seating allocations just prior to the concert. We value your feedback and will have shared it with the team and third party suppliers so that we can provide a better concert experience for everyone in future. Yours Sincerely, the Rochford Team

Visited Rochford for Father’s Day lunch for a set menu BBQ. We waited almost 1 and a half hours for cheese and fruit platters which were fine but very very basic. Drinks orders were often wrong and the staff offered to refund or offered to replace in addition to the incorrect order which again was fine just a little stressful having to challenge the order. We went on the wait another hour for a plate of cold food which was pretty tasteless and again basic. Portion sizes varied greatly with the waiter stating it depended on the cut, however the cut was the same only the serving size varied. The used plates were just left on the table and we’re still there when we left. At $50 a head it was an appalling experience. Walking past cheap stuffed toys on the way out said it all. Save yourself the money, time, effort and time and go elsewhere. Anywhere else!!

I was part of a large tour group which had the displeasure of having a wine tasting at this venue today.
Admittedly we arrived late, due to our trip before running late, but our tour manager did ring and explain,.and they were ok about us still turning up.
Probably would have been better if they'd asked us not to go, or reschedule. We were given an extremely lukewarm welcome, ushered straight into a building, out of sight of the wedding they also had taking place there. We were totally made to feel unwelcome and the whole experience was extremely rushed, with very little information given about the wines we were given to sample. We were then informed that we weren't allowed to go into the gift shop (which meant we couldn't buy any wine, even if we wanted to) as they wanted to keep it clear for the wedding party. All in all, an extremely poor experience and I for one, won't recommend them. Several of us also asked our tour manager to convey our dissatisfaction back to his head office, in the hope that they wouldn't use this winery for any further groups.

We sampled five of their wines when visiting this winery. They won an award back in 2006 for best Pinot, but the vintage we sampled was good, but not great. The gentleman pouring our wine did a great job describing the wines. There is a spiral staircase leading to a platform with views of the wine fields and surrounding hillsides. We enjoyed the cherry trees by the parking lot which were in bloom during our visit.

We booked to be 'On the Deck' for the Wildflower event. At $200/head to be on the Deck we expected to be ON the Deck! Not inside where taped music was playing so we couldnt even hear the music that was happening on stage! We asked 'Jordy' the Manager about having a table on the Deck, that the 'Deck' means exactly that not inside his Cafe! He was extremely rude to us.
He said "we don't want people like you coming back here" !
Damm right Jordy, we WILL NOT be back ever again.
We spoke to many other patrons inside the Cafe and all of them were of the same opinion as us.
AND $20 to park in a paddock?! Total Rip Off
