About
Punt Road winery sits across a spectacular 58-hectare vineyard in Coldstream, nestled within the cool-climate region of the Yarra Valley. Grape growing on their historic estate dates to 1860, and today the third and fourth generations of the Napoleone family own and farm the land. They welcome you to visit the cellar door in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Sample a selection of their wines in an intimate seated tasting. Settle in with a glass of wine and build your own picnic lunch from their Picnic Pantry to enjoy in the covered Marquee Bar or garden grounds.

It was a little chilly on the day we visited but inside in the wine tasting room it was very cosy. The host was informative about the history of the winery and had a great sense of humour. We tasted some whites and reds. I am not a red wine drinker but the ones I tasted I could be tempted to try more in the future. We also got to sample the cider which was very nice as well.

i was visiting from the UK last Christmas and My daughter took me here and I was really very impressed with my visit to this particular winery.
The ambience and the waiter was just lovely, no rush and nothing was too much trouble.
I am only now getting around to wring a review as I've just come across the welcome menu in my 'to do' list
I did buy a bottle of Punt Road Chardonnay for my son in law, an amazing wine for an even more amazing price.

I had never been to this winery before and was pleasantly surprised. The tasting area is small but there was room at the back and the guy was very attentive and informative. We later sat out the back and listened to some lovely live music. I didn't want to leave, it was so pleasant. The wine, needless to say, was very nice. It was hard to choose which to buy.

I have been here many times and usually like this winery however yesterday 25th of August was my worst customer service experience. I arrived with two Asian people in Victoria on holiday and it was clear that the young lady conducting the tasting had issue with their nationality. In fact I heard her telling her male counterpart, that these people "give her the sh*ts". Considering these people spent several hundred dollars l was disappointed to hear that. We proceeded to Yering Estate and they had no issues at all with nationality and were treated well.

Went there after a zoo trip to the Healesville Sanctuary on the Valentine's Day. Very relaxing setting, the wine garden has live music on Sundays. Wine tasting were free and the staff was very friendly. Ending up buying the dessert wine as we think that's the most special one on offer. Punt Road wines are all regarded in the market but when you get to the winery, I tend to only purchase the slightly 'unusual' kind. Unfortunately we were too full at the time (after having too much chocolates at the Chocolateries), but next time will love to try to cheese platters with a gls of red. Already planning a second visit ~

One of two great small vineyards visited. Great staff serving great wines - especially the Pinot Noir (better than Oregon's).

The feeling of dread when you are about to embark on a adult activity with 3 children between 3-6..
This quickly melted away as they streamed outside to play giant Jenga and boche and left us to enjoy a wine tasting of fabulous wines.
The sommelier we met was a young guy with tattoos and piercings, he was knowledgeable, passionate and engaging.
And we didn’t even notice when our pirates came in and were quickly entertained with uno and colouring in the lounge by another staff member.
Fabulous setting, kid friendly and top quality wine and extremely reasonable prices.
We will be back!

Visited as part of a wine tour. Whilst the wines weren't to my taste the scenery was beautiful and the experience was good

Punt Road lived up to our expectations - the wine is just as good as ever. It was a very chilly morning but the fire was going and it made it all very welcoming. It was our favourite stop of the day.
