Cute cellar door however the gentleman in the tasting room was beyond poor. Did not a knowledge us for at least 5 min even though only one other group was there. Brick walls are more engaging, I practically had to drag words from his mouth ..as an experience it was woefull, the wine was pleasant.

We had the cellar door to ourself on this rainy day, not that it was any problem for us! It meant we had a personalised tasting! Nice setting with the elevation to look out over the valley with the rain coming down outside. Wines were high quality, exactly what we expected. Loved most of the Chardonnays, and no matter the quality of any Pinot Noir it is just not the style that I like or would ever buy.

Hi Randall,
Thankyou so much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. We are delighted that you got to enjoy our Cellardoor even on a cosy, rainy day.
We are so happy to hear how much you enjoy our Chardonnay range. The beauty of making great wines is that everybody has their favourite varietals and so we appreciate that Pinot Noirs may not be your preference.
Thanks again for coming to visit, we hope to see you again soon.
Kind Regards,
The Coldstream Hills Cellardoor Team

My wife and I went to the cellar door at Coldstream Hills on Sept 30 and had an amazing time. Joel was a great host and really helped us learn more about their wine and treated us like mates. Coldstream have a wide selection with older vintages ready to drink now. We loved their Pinots and Chardonnays and interestingly they sell a fabulous barrel fermented Sauv Blanc - which will change your view on the varietal. Also the value is impressive. It's the only winery we took home a full case. Thanks team.

Took a group of 3 English friends for a tasting. A small group left soon after we arrived so we had the cellar door to ourselves.
Great view, lovely wines ........ But sadly the gentleman offering tastings gave us the impression that he didn't want to be there. He showed little interest is talking about the wines. So we left to spend our money in more friendly establishments.

Tried one wine but ran away after having to deal with the rude sod behind the counter. Wine was ok although the sample size was small

Our tour guide almost put us off going here but I was insistent, and it paid off. Amazing wines and Josh was fantastic, he was so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does. Highly recommend visiting.

Hi Vikki,
We're so glad you made the effort too! We're very proud of the quality of our wines and our winemaker's ability to extract and express the very best of the Yarra Valley. We will pass on your kind words to Josh about his great service too.
Best,

After finding it difficult to locate the wine tasting experience was pretty good. The wines were lovely but the guy showing us them was so arrogant it lessened the experience.

I ordered and paid for wine last July. After chasing them twice they now tell me that half my order is not available. The wine is OK but the service is very bad. I am now trying to cancel my membership of their Ampitheatre Club and i think that I will find another Yarra Valley wine to drink, after all there are plenty of the.

The wine is nice but try and get past your first tasting. I would have brought wine as I liked what was on offer. My wife and I were the only people there at the time, but the staff at the time had more important things to do then help customers spend money.

This was the first winery we stop at on our wine tour, on arrival we were given one wine to taste and then to be told if we wanted another wine to taste to request with the quote don't waste my wines and will not waste your time. With such rudeness and attitude our whole group didn't purchase any of the wines and walked out

We visited the vineyard in February and were very impressed by your reserve Pinot Noir and Reserve Chardonnay. The gentleman doing the tasting showed us a delivery that was being made up for the UK and told us that prices where calculated to include import duty payable.
Can you tell us whether it would be possible to import to the UK for private consumption. If yes, what would the quantum involved be and the cost.
Many thanks
Loraine Stewart
