We rode from Cochamo to El Paso del Leon with Fabian on the 5 day trek. There really are no words that can explain how privileged we feel to have been part of this trip. The riding sure was tough on the horses, but that's life here in the Andes. Fabian was absolutely brilliant with organizing everything - we felt... More

This small family owned company , offers you the best of this region : beautiful landscapes, warm and friendly company , home made delicious lunch , dedicated guides and mostly the opportunity to know first hand about the settlement of the pioneers in this area as well as their continuos fighting for preserving the natural resources and environment. I would... More

We took the one day ride (5 hours including lunch) and we were very pleased! Tatiana is a very good host (even if she doesn't speak english we could understand each other) and made our day just wonderfull! We made the ride with his father, a very nice person who explained us several things about cochamo valley. The lunch was... More

The 5d4n horse-riding trip from cochamo to paso el leon with Favian was an unforgettable experience!!! Thanks Favian! There could be no better guide than Favian. He is a local from Cochamo and knows every place by hard, even unexperienced with horses we felt completely safe and always in good hands. His horses are unbelievable strong, they are accustomed to... More

We did the 3d 2n family trip with this OUTSTANDING family owned company. Fabian, a Cochamo local is the head guide and runs the business with Tatiana his sister and one other employee. Fabian is friends & rock climbing buddies with Daniel the owner of Refugio Cochamo and gets you lodging there as part of your tour. You start out... More

Elsa our guide was absolutely fantastic - she was very patient with us novice riders, and clearly has a love of horses. She is from France, but obviously has a connection with the area and it's people. The horses were healthy and well looked after - miuch better than some others we saw. We were very pleased with the food,... More

We were fortunate to travel by horseback into the Cochamo Valley with Fabien and Nicole for four days. The weather was unusually warm, often >30C, but the trip was exceptional. The granite mountain scenery was majestic. Southern Trips provided outstanding hospitality and guide service, good, wholesome food and genial companionship. The horses were gentle, well-fed and remarkably able to navigate... More
