There are tours in the nearby town to get to this cave. I just followed the signs from the road and it led me to forested paths which would be easy to slip on or get lost (if the paths disappear). Arrived at the entrance of the cave after a 30-minute walk around the paths.
I didn't go in since I didn't have any equipment. If you want to go for yourself, I would recommend a waterproof torch and a helmet at a minimum.
The caves looked really old and small so there might be paths inside the cave which could get you lost. At the very least it was an interesting walk to get there.

Well, consider that this comes from the viewpoint of a woman who qualifies for senior citizen discounts. That in mind, I recommend that you:
(a) wear shoes that are closed and get a good grip
(b) get the guide, who will provide the hardhats and headlights
(c) be ready for the stairs and caves to be slippery underfoot, and the bamboo bannisters to be untrustworthy.
Seeing the bats near the beginning was interesting. The slippery floor was challenging even for the youngest one in our group (age 10). As we were going down the steps there was a bamboo bannister to the left. I put hardly any weight on it, having reached out just to stay steady, and suddenly the bannister snapped and I found myself head down on the steps, with a drop-off to the left.
So, this is one of those reviews where "I didn't go through the whole thing, but I'm writing a review about it."
The kids saw some interesting spiders, and two snakes. One was identified by our guide as a green mamba (10 minutes left after it bites you, said the guide). They said there were a couple of places where the passages were about a meter high.
I was glad I could walk out, rather than being ignominiously hauled out on a stretcher. The local clinic was excellent at cleaning up my three wounds and getting me betadyne-d. And all's well that ends well. But I wouldn't put this on the list for a casual fun cave trip.

I passed the pangihan cave from (thru pangihan) top to down (Sabang exi)t of the cave. It's a little bit scarry but exciting.. We did it thrice , and it happened waybak 1990 when i was 14 years old.. Most people in our place afraid to surpassed the pangihan cave because it is muddy. once you go down thru bamboo pole from pangihan then theres no turning back because you can not climb up... you have to continue and thats an hour journey.. no one will hear you down if something happened to you...We were just three and we are all 14 years old.. Theres a lot of door because the cave has small hole but it's a cavern. a lots of bats... to go out there is to follow the light...
