A cool place to visit with children, but a bit older children. Very modern and full with virous realistic items. Nice and understandig place to find out more about Earth and human history.

The museum is built almost 'in situ', at the place where most of the artifacts and bone fragments have been found. The fact I love the most is the visit to the museum brought more questions than answers, forcing me to dig myself much deeper...More

I wondered if this would be a very simplified explanation aimed more at children. Happily no though the initial movie could give that impression. The displays are well-presented and the information in Croatian, German and English is sufficiently comprehensive and well-worded for most visitors. Quite...More

It's exciting for kids to show how we got together and how we lived. For them it is another universe. Greatly designed.

It depends on how interested you and your children are in a subject. I would say you can do it in 45 min/1 hour but if you want to take your time and stroll around the park outside the museum than count on 90 minutes minimum.
