You CAN’T pass this up if you’re in the area. Worth driving out of your way for a visit and to walk the dunes, if you like quiet and solitude.

The path is accessible and easy to walk along the beach. Some explanitory signs on local fauna and animals along the way. Since there's no shade on the boardwalk, I strongly recommend hats on a sunny day as it can get quite hot.

I had not been back to Bouctouche in 50 years. My father is from here and my grandparents are buried in small village some 15 miles away in St. Paul de Kent. When I left, this was a poor community struggling to stay alive. In...More

We stopped here recently on our way to PEI, what a beautiful spot to visit. There is a .5 mile boardwalk along the dunes and the marsh, with stairs down to the sandy beach. It is an easy walk, with information spots along the way....More

Great place for a stroll on the boardwalk or on the beach. Lots of interpretative signs. Very nice facilities and best of all, it is free. Worth a detour to go see when heading up the 11 or 134.

The boardwalk is beautifully maintained and winds through the property. The beach I’d extremely clean and the shallow sand bars make it a perfect place for kids to play and wade. This is July so there are still lots of jellyfish but the water was...More

This place was impressive. The beach is long and sandy. The boardwalk is long and beautiful. The water is crystal clear. However, it's not great for swimming due to jellyfish and the fact that the bay is shallow. It's spotlessly clean, eco-friendly, free, and has...More

Pets are not allowed on the beach. There are shaded kennels to keep your pets, so you may enjoy your day on the beach.
