Beautiful mountain place! The emerald colour of the water with the mountains as a frame make this place a destination to see at any cost! Possibility to go around the lake thanks to the path that runs along it entirely. The visit is certainly better...More

I haven't seen a mores striking setting in the Alps. No wonder this was a VIP-location for German WW2 prisoners. But nowadays this mountain road cul-de-sac is so crowded that it is hard to enjoy the scenery. It would make sense to regulate the entrance...More

Going to the Pragser wildsee on a weekday is doable - we took the first parking as this one is just a little bit of a walk, but nice to enter. It fills up quite quickly. The view of the see is great, the walk...More

We still have those amazing landscapes in front of our eyes. Just spectacular. There’s only one restaurant and one bar by the lake. Both close at 15:00. The bar after that serves pizza and French fries. The lake is absolutely magnificent. Must visit!!

Beautiful lake reminds me of Canada. The colour of the lake surrounding pine trees and mountains make a spectacular setting. Clean with good parking facilities. Try and get there earlier to get morning light for premium photo opportunities. Well worth a visit if you are...More

The pictures do this place justice...it's absolutely beautiful. We arrived at about 6 pm and the crowds were all gone, but it was still light for several hours. We walked around the lake and it was so peaceful and lovely. It reminds me very much...More

Beautiful lake, well worth a visit. Unfortunately the weather was bad when we visited but we still loved the place. Great photo opportunities. Can get crowded, relax and go for a walk around the lake. Easy paid parking available close by.

It was one of the most and gorgeous sites I’ve visited... you can take a walk around this Italian Alpine Lake but be really prepared for the ups and downs through 30% of the lake that goes really close to the mountain!!! But totally worth...More

It´s a stunning scenery even in winter time. There is a path around the lake which is little bit challenging during winter. Parking costs 5 E during the day. It´s for free after 4 pm.

From Milan ? I think it would be too much... it’s more than a 4hs drive to get there so 8 to return and you have to plan about 1:30 to get around the lake... I think it’s too much to do for a day... you could plan a night... More
