Although the place was somehow crowded we had no problem in finding a parking spot. The path goes all around the lake is practicable for most people except handicapped. View is great wherever you are around the lake. Boats are available for rent. One aspect that we did not like at all: this was mid-September. The Covid was active everywhere. Masks were not mandatory outside. On one side of the lake the path is wide enough to maintain some distance with other hikers. However, most of the other half of the path is made of very narrow paths and/or stairs going up and down. Distanciation was impossible and many people did not wear a mask. Many times we had to stop and let people go. Some of them were very uneducated and running through like crazy. We plan to complain with local authorities and suggest a one-way tour.…

Went for a visit to the lake. Luckily we went very early and parked a bit away from the lake. Parking costs 6 euro for the whole day. The closer you get it is 6 euro and a additional fee per half an hour. You can walk around the lake and make some beautifull photo's. When we where almost finished it was getting crowded. From the lake there are also walking paths what are not crowded.…

First the difficult bit, parking. We arrived at 10.15, there are 3 car parks, all were full. So we turned around and drove to Ferrara, parked for free. Found a bus stop near the church with a sign that you can only book tickets online for the bus. Did this online and paid by PayPal. Bus turned up 2 minutes later, showed my email receipt, we were allowed on. Can’t stress enough, no cash payments. The lake is beautiful, you can walk around, you will climb 32 stairs. Do rent a boat, 19 euros for half an hour or 29 for an hour, do 1 hour. Toilets on the right side of the lake, 1 euro. Cafeteria gets busy. And for the lake, see the pictures …

After have driven for two hours and a half from Belluno and when there were only 7 km to reach the lake a guy without any distinctive was blocking the route and avoiding us (and all the other cars) to continue. We went back and stop in the hotel Edelweise where "by chance" they proposed us to park there for €15 and take the van for other €5 per person (other 15 in our case × 2 to come back to the car). So magically I had to pay €45. This made up business of which I became an unexpected (unexpected by me) client put me of a very bad mood to enjoy anything. …
