Great views of the remnants of chateau. Come early as it gets too hot there. Very nicely preserved remnants, easy-to-follow guide in multiple languages. Definitely worth a visit, if you have a car.

This is a great spot to get a sense of the history of Martinique. It is just beautiful, with well kept grounds, a small museum and has a nice self guided tour. After the tour you can hike down through the mangroves through a nature...More

Arrive early if you want to get a good parking space. After you visit the Chateau ruins, there is a popular hiking trail that continues along the coast.

Interesting couple of hours visit round this chateau built by a wealthy family and now a ruin. You can walk round the point and the estate. The shop needs some TLC.

It is noticed that this place is opened from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. We arrived at 12:45 pm and we couldn't enter. The reason was "it's one hour to visit. So it's to late to let you enter". WTF! Make sure that your written...More

Very interesting to see the ruins of what life was like a few hundred years ago here on the islands. It's a bit of a walk down hill to arrive at the chateau. However, the views from the chateau are breathtaking overlooking the sea. A...More
