We had a memorable day's sailing on Denebola from Le Robert. We knew we'd made the right choice when we saw their caravan/ticket office with gorgeous illustrations all over. We tacked out to Islet Madam for swimming, snorkelling, lunching and a quick walk to the west side and back. Absolutely gorgeous. Lunch looked great but we opted out and took our own sandwiches.Another islet had amazing Antilles iguanas and an old brickworks that used massive lumps of coral to make quicklime!

Most of us took a turn at the tiller and the auxiliary electric motor was hardly ever used.

Our captain/guide/cook/barman was genuinely enthusiastic about sailing and the environment in great detail. Most important of all, he could speak English as well as French.

We picked Denebola from all the reviews and honestly it was perfect. We arrived from Sainte Marie by 9 and had a full day sailing. Stephan was our captain and he was extremely knowledgable of the history and of sailing so it was very relaxing and informative. We highly recommend this activity if you want to have a more intimate sailing adventure!

This wonderful sailing trip was the most beautiful thing we did in Martinique. Délice, our friendly and very committed skipper showed us the basics of sailing and we sailed, just by the power of wind, to two different magnificent islands in the bay of Robert. Délice even surprised us with wonderful "Accras" and a really good "Planteur".

We can, without any doubt, recommend this beautiful journey to everyone, both young people and families. Délice speaks english very well, so don't worry if you dont speak french!

Thanks to Délice for the great time you gave us!!!

Our family of 4 took a half day sailing tour with Denebola. Delise, the owner and the captain of the boat, was wonderful and passionate about sailing. She speaks good English, along with Spanish and of course French and Creol. She explained to us how to work the sails and steer the boat and allowed us to practice. The boat can take as many as of eight people, but that day the four of us were the only passengers. We had a delightful time with Delise. She told us about the culture, history, and life of the island. The culmination point of the tour was when we went to snorkel and saw some amazing, brightly colored fish. We enjoyed our time with Delise so much that after the tour we invited her to lunch. She took us to a local restaurant. It was a best way to experience local cuisine.
It was a great day to spend on the water. We greatly appreciated the sailing experience compared to the motor boats that we used previously. We highly recommend Delise and her sailing tours.

A must do! A hodge podge of tourists from all different countries on a single boat. So much fun. This was great for everyone: singles, couples, families. Delice is so sweet and informative. She lets you take an active role in sailing. The activities including swimming, snorkeling, and standup paddle boarding were all fun. Lunch of local cuisine was delicious and nutritious. We truly can't say enough good things about our day with Delice.

We were looking to spend a day sailing and discovering the Robert islands and we checked the different offers around. We finally decided to call Dénébola because Dénébola offers a different concept more linked to the nature and in a smaller boat than the big catamaran.
The experience was great, Délice, the skipper and trip director, explained lots of things about the different corals, fishes, iguanas, and also about some of the old remainings of a brick factory in the Chancel island. She created a perfect day in a perfect trip in "petit commitée" as we were only 6 people.
I really recommend this trip if you want to discover the Robert islands... we spent such a great day!

This experience was beyond what I expected. Eight hours of sailing on miraculously blue waters was phenomenal and Bastian was the best captain! We made stops to explore the beach and have lunch and then headed to see iguanas on another ilet all at our own pace! Throw in rum and add a few specialty punches that used island fruits. We were lucky-we saw incredible catamarans but they were loaded with people and our boat accommodated eight just perfectly, which made it a very personal experience!

Met new people sailing with us and had an absolutely amazing day!

We couldn’t have loved this trip more. Booked ahead of time based on the high recommendations on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. Boat was the perfect size for our family of ten including young children, teens and grandparents - so much better than the “party” boats that we saw that day. Was very private and personal. Delice and Bastien were both fantastic and made us all feel welcome. Bastien was an excellent captain and instilled confidence every step of the way. Even gave everyone an opportunity to share in the sailing, from raising the sail to working the tillers! Lunch on the island was fantastic as well - all very fresh! The rum sampling at lunch was great as well. Beautiful stretch of beach great for swimming or just lounging. If you’re looking for great snorkeling I’d probably ask for a different itinerary since there was very little to see there. Wasn’t really worth even getting in the water Otherwise, could not have been better. Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for a great experience; great explanations about history; animals; plants without loud music and shouting people. Go for it :-)

Bastien and Délice are customer centirc and customize your stay as you wish and really take care of you. We were there with 4 teenagers and they were very happy about that day. You can plan this visit as well with children (lot of pedagogic material on board as well).

Don't miss this opportunity to visit the Atlantic side of La Martinique.

For cruise travelers who do not speak any French, I was a bit concerned about finding a shore excursion for my family. The operation run by Delice turned out to be great in every way. She and I communicated a few times by email and she arranged for a taxi driver to meet us at the dock. I highly recommend that you ask Delice to arrange for the taxi in advance. My two boys were able to participate in the sailing activities. Bastian was terrific with the boys. When we arrived at the island, Bastian cooked us the most delicious lunch over a charcoal grill and we helped ourselves to some rum punch. Also, for non-French speakers, this is a great option because both Delice and Bastian speak English, which I think is not the norm in Martinique.

Travel Trip: Delice can charge the trip to your credit card at the dock or you can do PayPal. But, you're going to need Euros for the taxi and if you want to give your sailboat captain a tip. We had a long day in port (9:00-6:00), which was enough time for the day trip.
