Interesting old village houses, old kitchen, good beer. Nice views, you can go to the village pub or restourant.

Nice Skansen, with many wooden houses, windmills etc. reassembled from different Lithuania regions into one place. You can rent a bike near the entrance or do it by foot. There is also old town reconstructed. Some traditional festivals are held there, the most beautiful - is a shrowetide, celebrated on saturday before the real date (it is celebrated in tueasday). Also, one of the most beautiful summer music fests - Granatos Live is being held here.

Really nice place to visit on sunny days and see how Lithuanians lived in the past. Be in nature, go inside to the old, authentic houses etc.

Visited recently in a nice sunny day, beautiful autumn foliage. Huge area to cover walking, take a picture of a map after the bridge to make navigation easier. One could also stop at the info point to the right by the entrance, lots of useful info including thematic routes with distances and estimated time to do. Starting October all ethnographic houses are locked so only to wander around but it is still enjoyable. Bring water and snacks as the tea-room in the main village works on Fridays and weekends only off season. Overall a nice half day out in the countryside.
