malfatano beach is located at the costa del sud in a whide flat bay not far away from the high frequentated spiaggia di tueredda a little bit far in the south. we came to that place in the eary afternoon and i relation to the big neighbour tueredda we were nearly alone. only a few guests were around and it was the perfect mood to let dangle the soul.
the fine sandy beach is interrupted from rocks and slopes very gently to the sea. a perfect place for families with small children. the water is crystalclear and shines in all types of blue. it made a lot of fun to swim and splash.
there a no natural shadow zones on the beach. a parasol and sun protection should be in the beach luggage as same as food and drinks, because there is no restaurant or bar. also a toilette we didn´t found.
for hollyday-fishermen malfatano beach is very interessting. a small harbor for sportsfisher is located and some cutter and yachts bob up and down in the middle of the bay.
the underwater wildlife is very rich in species and attracts snorkelers.
we can recomment malfatano beach very much. it is the perfect alternative to spiaggia di tueredda just arround the corner. we had a quiet and chilled afternoon in the sunshine and enyoyed every minute of our stay.

Peaceful and quiet beach with an amazing lookout point to fort tower which is10mins steep walk. The beach is in a shallow bay with no waves. There is a cafe restaurant bar that serves drinks and food which is good and also sun chairs to hire. You need to go down a side road / dirt track very bumpy but don't worry once u get over the high hilly are there.

Beautiful sardinina beach. You must go and enjoy the sand and clear waters. Kids enjoyed it as well.

Nice beach and perfect bay for boaters to anchor up. Interesting old (Roman?) tower on the hill, nice view from there. The restaurant in the bay is not very friendly and has a dubious menu, ‘fish’ and ‘meat’ without any other info on cooking, side dishes served (or not) and a rather snotty staff. Avoid!

The beach is located west of the more famous CHia beaches. It is much smaller and harder to find. At teh southernmost tip of Sardinia (Capo Malfatano).

Not the best beach but less visited and with a great bar on the beach.Water calm as protected form waves and wind on all sides, ideal for families.

Lovely girl running the beach bar , Lovely walks to either side of the bay. As I mentioned the beach bar was very welcoming and the girl spoke very good English . Nothing was too much trouble for her and the food was very gd.this was our favourite beach as it was very quite although it was late September. We recommended the beach to several other people .

We took a chance and drove off the main road along the dusty track. The beach is small but much quieter than others we looked at.
There is a beach bar serving food and drink. All of the attention was given to those who spoke Italian, we didn't feel looked after well at all. We had spaghetti with fish and tomatoes, which was very nice and also a whole grilled fish, maybe a bream. It came with no garnish or salad - just an un-marinated fish on a plate, and the cost? €15! I like to eat fish when we travel but this was a complete let down, €15 for one plain grilled fish!
We walked to the top of the hill which has stone lookout post on top. It is s nice walk, there are some lovely views down to the coves.
