There is a lot to do here, but we came on a Wednesday when 4 cruise ships were in Charlotte Amalie. It was too crowded for us. Otherwise it is a good beach.

We came early before all the cruise guests arrived. Absolutely amazing snorkelling/visibility. We saw so many different species and the water was calm - perfect for the kids.

It took about 25 mins by bus and the road was windy but a main road so wide enough to pass cars without being too scary.
