Nice beach with great view
Sep 2020
It is a very nice and deep beach, and the promenade is quite long. The walking path is very nice, especially at the eastern end. You can also take the stairs and enjoy a great view!

Great place to visit
Aug 2019 • Family
I never get bored visiting Val Andre beach or promenade. Fantastic family friendly beach, with life guards during the Summer period. The town has a great selection of hotels, shops, restaurants and gift shops. The walk along the promenade, especially during a sunset is great. Highly recommended place to visit.

Pleasant beach & town

Superb beach for families. Kms of sandy beaches. Water sports look to be available at one end. Bars, restaurants, cafes all nicely positioned in the middle of the promenade. Easy free local parking. Makes for a great family day out.

A day at the beach
Aug 2018 • Family
We had a fabulous day at the beach on Tuesday. Couldn’t have picked a better day for it this week weather wise.
The promenade offers a lengthy walk with beautiful views and many places to stop for a beverage or two.
The beach was empty when we first arrived as the tide started going out we managed to pick a ideal spot with plenty of space for the beach shelter and towels with free parking on the side street we were able to leave our valuables there and all venture into the sea together which was a refreshing change.
As we were with my partners teenage son we opted to buy some sandwiches, crisps and pop from the supermarket just in the seaside town.

Plenty seen here while out for a run!
Jul 2018 • Solo
I stayed nearby to here and visited during an evening run. The promenade is about 2km long from end to end and so great for a walk.

There are a number of cafes, restaurants and a changing area for the beach.

Well worth a visit!

Another nice beach town
Sep 2017 • Couples
Brittany is full of gorgeous beaches and this is another one. The town attached to it is lovely and different than Erquy or Sable d' Or, the two beach towns next in line. This town seems a bit older and has that kind of character. Just depends what you prefer.

Lovely day out
Aug 2017 • Family
Val Andre is a lovely seaside town to visit.

It has a very long promenade walk alongside the beach front. Lovely for anytime of the day. Accessible by car is easy and free to park in the little side streets or at the casino.

The beach here is a child's dream. Very long sandy beach, safe swim area marked, with lifeguards during high season.

A wonderful selection of shops, restaurants and bars line the nearby streets, all very reasonably. My children's favourite is the ice cream parlour that has over 50 different flavours!

Highly recommended.

Strolling at its best
Aug 2016 • Family
The promenade is ideal for a relaxing walk, a run or the roller blade. We often go and watch the sun set over the sea or just to look at the amazing houses along the promenade.
