I was so happy to find this on TP and check it out with the family. The lodge and grounds and people were very nice and we saw punu, tiny local deer, grazing right on their lawn just after arrival. You get a talk about the kayaking and can have a nice dinner or make your own food if you... More

The layout and setting on a river are so restful and peaceful. The common area is very cozy and warm. The food is gourmet level and copious. Most of all the hosts are the nicest people you would ever want to meet. The personal attention extended beyond the kayaking and the penguins to invaluable help with a sticky situation concerning our rented... We drove to Chepu to try the kayak tour. The gate was locked. There was no sign on the gate to indicate how to contact the owner.

Hello, We are sorry that you run into the locked gate. At the moment we are undergoing some changes and the establishment has been closed for a few weeks. We will start taking guests and renting our kayaks again by the end of September. Again, we are very sorry that you had that experience, we are working to come back... More

Chepu Adventure, managed and owned by Fernando and Amory, is a wonderful, beautiful and magical place. Beautiful views of the morning mist over the Chepu river, and low-impact sustainable presence, with solar power and wind energy. Kayaking in the river and hiking to the wild beautiful ocean beaches nearby are high points. Anyone traveling to Chiloe for nature experiences should... More

I was going through my TripAdvisor reviews and couldn't believe I didn't have a review for this. It is truly one of my most favorite things I've done on vacation...ANY WHERE. I could have sworn I did this already but since it's not here, I'll repeat since I loved it that much. I am not super into nature or kayaking... More

Incredible. When I booked the stayover and dawn kayak experience here, i thought 'this should be a cool experience.' It was quite a bit more than that. Amory and Fernando are fantastic hosts, you feel instantly welcome as soon as you arrive and meet one or both of them. The cabins where you stay are perfectly cosy, with very high... More

The sunken forest of Chepu is breathtakingly magical. Amory and Fernando are wonderful hosts, creating an environmentally gentle place for visitors to experience a spectacular landscape. Chiloe already had me in awe at her beauty, then I came here, kayaked at dawn and am forever enchanted.

Magical sunrise canoe trip :-) I don't even like boats/water that much and was very apprehensive about it all. The huge Chilean rhubarbs on the water's edge are also quite something to behold. What makes this experience so special is the whole sunken forest landscape, so you're surrounded by dead tree branches sticking up out of the water, that you... More

This lodging provides a true experience of sustainability. We saw how much energy and water we used. Surprising when you don't measure it... Now we are educated to think about how much water & energy we waste. Hospitality was great from Fernando and Amory- great hosts; natural surroundings for kayaking and hiking were awesome. We give them 2 thumbs up... More
