To get to this island you have to wait for the tide to fall which happens twice a day. We didn't wait for the tide to fall completely and walked in the knee deep water. It was real fun. The view from the island was great but it was crowded and the island itself is really small.

A cool place to chill with friends or in couple. It is very famous with locals, plenty of whom you'll meet there, most of which are friendly. Better take your chilled beers with you else you have to get up and walk the distance every time you want something.

Make sure you check with your hotel concierge about the low tide time so that you can walk to the island. It was a short and fun walk with waves lapping from both sides. There is nothing much to do on the tiny island but can have a coconut drink when you get back to the beach. Lover's Island is facing Ace Hotel if you are coming from the road side.

Really not worth worth visiting the beach is strewn with rubbish and it smells bad around the vendors. There are banana boats and jet skies parked all over rhe beach. There is nothing but a couple of tacky statues to look at on Lover island and some vendors selling dodgy looking food.

It is a beautuful place but there is a problem.Too many motorbikes and boats create noise and smell.Noise pollution and air pollution. To make it worse local vendors sometimes burn garbage.Dont look for relaxing place. But if u sit at the central hotel beach far enough it creates beautiful scenery for ur pictures

We just walk to the top of the hill for like 10 minutes on foot. It is exciting but if you are seeking for an exotic adventure this is the right place. On the other hand, hill is very steep to climb which if you want to get good place to go with your partners.Tidy flow is very good feeling to the Island, What is an experience to go over the sand road, surrounding with sea water and hitting by the waves. There are many kinds of rock, small animals and lovely sea plants.

Enjoy with Sunset and sea view with wave of tidy. You can walk to the island if the tide is low, good place to watch the sunset.

I don't know why people like to go to that island. It's just a real small island without anything to do. There is two ways to get there, by the boats around there and by crossing the sea (the deepest part is 4feet). If you cross there from sea , be careful when you close to the island since there were so many rocks underneath. The island is nothing just garbage , there are rocks which you can take photos from there but the amount of plastic trash can't be avoidable in the view.

I was very disappointed with all those trash all over the island. To get there you can get on foot! Crossing the beach and it would be a pleasant one if they would keep it clean. More respect to the environment please!

this is the island we have to go and see something among the interesting places in ngwe saung because there is a mermaid statue and the pagoda statue and especially you can walk onto the island on the low tide and you can walk around the island through the rock and you can climb on the island and you can see everything from the top of the island and normally it is a crowded place by the people who come to the beach but it is far away from the town and it is good place for sightseeing trip only.

It was dirty. The beach was littered with plastic bags and assortment of bottles and cans.
Only nice thing was that water was low tide and you can cross to the island by walking. One side of the island was very rocky and not safe for the children. My niece's foot was cut by the broken glass.
