This is an interesting attraction, combining the natural forces of the water with historical use of the water and folklore. There are 186 steps to climb so you need to be relatively fit to enjoy the walk. The cost is a very reasonable €4 and your are provided with a hard hat for the walk as you walk through rock tunnels with low roofs. The walk provides lovely views of the mountains and valley below. A good way to break a journey for an hour or so.

this was a very beautiful waterfall . t has many many steep steps that award you with beautiful sights . it was pricey because it was short - like only less than an hour and there are so many beautiful falls in the area that are free of charge . the children's playground on the map is quite insignificant and small

Good for a short stop and visit. You walk up to the top of the waterfall with 186 iron maze steps, hanging out from the rocks. You actually climb over the waterfall. If you look down from the top, you will find out that what looked like a high waterfall, was actually only a third of what was still hidden behind the rocks. There is some more theming around the force of the water (as it is an operational hydropowerstation) and the fairytale of the iron worker that lived in that location before.

Please, avoid visiting it. It is a just very short path with nothing special to see. If you want to see a nice gorge in Austria, you should go to Sigmund-Thun Klamm in Kaprun, for example.
The tunnel of mirrors is just an artificial tunnel with some dirty mirrors in it...
However, if you decide to go, please take care when returning the magnetic cards used for opening the entrance. You'll have to pay a deposit of 2€ for each one, and the recepcionist tried to stole us 2€ (we were visiting 4 people) by hiding quickly the cards and then saying that we just brought back 3 of them.

The approach to the place is easy and we reached easily with the help of our tomtom. Very scenic and close to nature place. Very well developed and conserved for sight seeing. Breathtaking views of the waterfalls and a nice storyline built around the place. There is also a short movie played in the end. Overall a nice experience

The Lochputz is not an attraction worth to make a trip only for this. But if you pass by, spend an hour to visit the nice waterfall

So if your passing through and would like some family fun looking at a waterfall and walking up a gazillion steps this is the place for you. Although the best thing to is go exploring off the beaten track. Just remember it is out of bounds and not aloud so this would have to be done after hours. I went with a few locals to the bottom of the waterfall an saw the ruins there. I personally loved it but its something that you would have to be interested in.
