What a find. In Plouaret and wanted a coffee. Found this newly opened Epicerie and had great coffee, stunning biscuits and friendly service. If in town give it a try. It’s in the main square by the superb church.

For me to enjoy an attraction I hope to find something exceptional and then the rest seems even more worth the visit. The grounds and castle are very manageable and not over whelming so I left feeling I had a measure of what this building...More

The castle is great, the gardens are very simple. Try to visit the castle as there are different parts corresponding to the different periods of expansion. The guide is very knowledgeable - I don't know if they do the visits in English though.

this castle is tucked away but worth the search --you get a good glimpse at what life was like for a rich person back in the day--the grounds are also wonderful to walk on--and believe it or not I was allowed with my little toy...More
