High mass was amazing. I'm not Catholic but the chanting and tradition was amazing. If you're a believer I highly recommend it.

The abbey was very dark, with only a light on the cross. There were no candles and no people, no music , no sound. Outside it was clean and sober. Not a special place to visit. (Title is from a movie)

To go there for other reasons may not be as interesting or fulfilling, but if you go for the high mass on Sunday, many of the locals are there and the ceremony, solemnity, and beauty of the Gregorian chants sung by the monks is unlike...More
