I love this beach and it has kept up well ;-) but they have built quite an ugly hotel right on the beach which shocks the eye (they could have done something more in line with the local style and surrounding nature) and in high season the beach is full of cars many equipped with boom boxes (an unfortunate habit still quite the norm in southern Brazil, although in Barra de Ibiraquere beach next to Luz they have banned the cars from the beach, which works for everyone's benefit!
The waves are great and the scenery is still one of the best in the south of Brazil!

First visit it was full of kite surfers, next time I guess the wind changed and it was empty. It's a long beach and the sea is a bit wild but good and very beautiful!

The trail to access Luz Beach coming from Praia do Rosa is not hard and takes less than 1 hour. No place to eat/drink at quiet Praia da Luz, a pristine smaller beach.

Visiting surfer friends overwintering here. lovely beach, great sunshine. Really good swimming, in wetsuit as its still pretty cold. Very friendly fishermen wave and talk to you as you swim around the coast, highly recommend it.

We walked here on a overcast day. Still beautiful and enjoyed climbing among the rocks.

It's a very quiet beach. Beautiful landscape. But access is terrible. Many holes and possibility of stalling in the sand. Including atolls. Taking that out, we love it.
