Chill Island

Beautiful Island and the view from the wooden bridge towards the island is stunning. The sea is perfectly bright and nice to swim in. You pay a little entrance fee, but they make a picture from you and put these in a keychain and you get 2 of them for free once you leave the Island

Lovely visit
Aug 2020 • Family
Popped to the island for a drink and a look around. Very pleased we went. Fun trip across the bridge, warm welcome upon arrival and good service at the bar. Had a look at the beach area which was beautiful but rather busy. Poked around the more rugged other side of the island. Very beautiful. Glad we went.

worth a visit
Sep 2020
the island is beautiful, though very tiny. i should imagine at peak season and without covid it would get very busy. its 5 euro each to get onto the island but for a couple of hrs its worth it
we went into the sea - wear swin shoes if you have them as its very pebbley and when you get ito the sea it has very large slippery pebbles but once again so worth it to swim in the clear water.
one visit was enough for us - i think the girl taking 100s and 100s of selfies of herself was enough for us to see to :-)

Amazing small island , jump into the water on the left side (raft) early in the morning and you spot multiple turtles!

Well worth it

Cameo Island is an amazing day! I have to disagree with the negative reviews. €5 is not a lot and the money goes to conservation of the island. I travelled here at around 10.30am. Took about 10-15 mins to go to all the vantage points before I made my way down to the beach. It is not a sandy beach, but there is a nice stone ledge to put out your towel and relax. The water is quite shallow with big stones, so it is a bit slippery. Luckily there is an anti slip mat that leads into the water and then swim out to the rocks. I came here on my last day and it was a great way to end my trip to beautiful Zakynthos!

Too many people for such a beautiful place
Aug 2020 • Couples
The place is indeed promising and advertising is pushing it strong however 5€ just to enter for 30 min before it closes it’s greedy and nonsense.
Beach is also very crowded too.
The main goal of this beautiful place is to make money out of tourists. I suggest to spend 10€ more and get a boat cruise

Scam for tourists - not recommended
Aug 2020
Deeply disappointed on how Cameo Island is managed, even though the place is outstanding. First, you pay 5,00 EUR at the entry on the back side of the island, so you can't see the beach that is on the other side, which means you may pay for a totally crowded place where you can't even extend your towel (please note it is not a sandy beach - always good to know). Then, the only thing you get in return is a seedy key ring with a photo of yours... but of course the photographer does not even make the effort to shoot you with open eyes.

If you are reading this and planning to go, I recommend you to pass by in a boat trip to Marathonisi or the Keri caves, and so you take photos of Cameo island on the way.

Must see
Aug 2020 • Friends
Went to Cameo Island early evening just as the sun was going down. Not to busy but you do have to wait to get the perfect picture when walking over the bridge. It cost €5 to enter but that does include a photo keyring with the option of a magnet with your photo in for a further €6.

The island has a restaurant and a small area to take some fabulous photos. No where to sunbathe but you can have a quick dip in the water if you want to.

We spent an hour here.

Very nice view
Aug 2020 • Couples
You can enjoy the view here, have some drinks and they even have a small private beach. If you’re lucky you will see some turtles from the bar on top. Entrance is 5€ per person but they make a photo of you and you get a keyring included.
