I rented a Scott Bike from Go Electric in late Oct early November for 5 days. My first time cycling an e bike and it didn’t disappoint. The Scott bike was strong & sturdy with power when needed going up hills. Voula & Denis are a good team, supportive & obliging. They have your back. I stayed in Alykanas & Denis dropped off the bike at the beginning of my stay & collected at the end which was generous especially with Go electric based in Zakinthos. With the exception of a small stretch of road outside Alykes towards Agio Nikolas the roads are good & in late Oct early Nov are relatively quiet. I travelled mainly between Alykanas (mid Island & Volimes & Agio Nicolas (North). In parts the hills are well forested and you get the benefit of great oxygen. My lungs were appreciative. I was given lights also, I wouldn’t recommend cycling at night & Go Electric don’t either as outside the villages the roads are not lit & oncoming cars only see you at last minute, so I’d bring a spare set just in case to keep you visible. Voula & Denis are good to stay in communication if you need them which is reassuring. An exhilarating experience, I plan to come back in 2022 DV.

Man, if only this was the standard for bike rentals. Bikes were amazing, 2 EMTB's rented. I myself on their orange Scott. Really well maintained bike with only very small cosmetic damages. Bikes were clearly serviced before we got them. They gave us helmets and lights, ask for lights if you need it. We rented them for 3 days. On the 3th day my chain sprung 24km away. We called and figured things out ASAP even though it got late. We got a cab and they picked up the bikes in their truck. When we got to the shop they didn't charge extra nor take the deposit. Service is in top, their English is amazing and their willingness to give you a good experience is astounding. All the best from us to them! BTW zakynthos is the perfect size for exploring by e-mtb. 3-4 days is recommended to see it all!

We rented 2 e-mountainbikes for a period of 4 weeks from Go-Electric. Tried them for 1 week at Zakynthos and took the ferry for the Peleponnese. We had a great holiday!! The service from Go-Electric was perfect. It was for them the first time that customers took the bikes to the Peleponnese; to far for them to give the included-service from the island. So they serviced the bikes an extra time, shortly before we left for the Peleponnese. We had no problems at all with the bikes; loved them and are still missing them. With our own (good) e-bikes from Holland we never could have made the tour we made in Greece. We had to pay a deposit for the bikes when we took them with the ferry. The money was returned to us within 2 weeks after our tour. Voula and the service man were accurate, and nice people. Highly recommended! We enjoyed the combination Zakynthos-Peleponnese very much. The last is less touristic, and very relaxed. We took a lot of gravel roads, using map 6 (1:200.000) from Terrain Editions in combination with Google maps. As we were in Greece in the low season finding accommodation was no problem.

I rented the Scott Sub Cross eRIDE 20 for my 14 days stay on Zakynthos island and I still think it was the best decision ever! It was my very first experiance with electric bicycles, but I've found it very easy to use. The bike was very helpful when the roads got steep, plus it's very convenient if you like to take a lot of photos along the way. As an amateur cyclist I'm proud to say that I've managed to reach all the beaches on the Eastern and Southern side of the island, while on the West I've made it to Plakaki, but then the temperatures got over 40 C and I've decided to complete the trip around the island with the car. My favorite beaches were Alykes, Alikanas, Dafni, Garakas, Korakonisi, Limnionas, Tsilivi and Xigia, Special thanks to Mrs. Voula, who was always very helpful and friendly.

We took this tour to get to know the island a bit better. It was a great decision! With the e-bikes you can make all the stops you want to take awesome photos, drink something or enjoy the view. It was so nice to smell the flowers and the natural herbs of the island on the way, see the olive trees and the beautiful landscapes. The owners of Go electric are very nice people, willing to help with everything we could need. The bikes were in very good shape, fully charged and with bags on the sides to carry the essential (or maybe a bit more).
