We were lucky to be staying in a hotel situated on this beautiful beach. Golden soft sand and the sea is crystal clear. A real gem of a beach. So natural and strolling along in the morning was one of the most peaceful experiences. Traditional Greece. One of the best beaches I’ve ever been to.

Lucky if you find it without waves which make small children swimming rather difficult. Gotta wake up early in the morning in order to raise your possibilities. Great if you are a kite-surfer though!

This little crescent of sand is packed with sun beds. Unfortunately for us, they were all taken. However, the beach is gorgeous, and the water refreshing. The beach bar next to it, Solymar, has sensational seafood and is only steps from the beach.

Keep away from this hotel. When you have any complaints, owners will threat you with police. Lady owner who is in charge of all hotel service will scream on irritated guests. First time met such client service behaviour.

When talking about Skafidia beach most people refer to the one that stretches out in front of the all-inclusive Aldemar hotel. In fact, Skafidia is a tiny little bay to the right of the hotel that you need to drive through Skafidia village to get to. Anyway, the large beach is nice and sandy with lots of umbrellas to rent whereas the other one is a rather small one that you need to squeeze in among other people with no guaranteed view of the sea itself. Again some umbrellas and sunbeds to use for free with the obligation to order something from the beach bar. Very clean, shallow waters for both beaches, however they seem to be battered by winds all summer and it is very rarely you will see any calm waters, especially in August. We've been told by friends who stayed at the all-inclusive hotel that they did not get the chance to swim in the sea for the whole of their 10-day stay. However, due to the shallow waters it is fun to swim with the waves, especially for kids who did not get enough of it. For parents, it was not as relaxing as we wanted, as we had to keep an eye on the kids most of the time.

There are 2 beaches close to Skafidia. The big one is next to the huge hotel complex, north of the creek, and extends further north. Here I'm talking about the small one. Skafidia beach is mostly frequented by Greeks, who are visiting or who have a summer house in the region. Not a very touristic place. The beach is small, with sun beds and umbrellas, and is clean. To the north there is a rocky part of the shore with a couple of mini beaches, which is a great place to watch the sunset, and after that there is a small cove/breakwater where fishing boats are docked. Before the beach there is a cafe/restaurant which can be crowded and a bit noisy with music during the high season.

I found beach very nice, golden sand on the beach and once getting into the sea, rather no stones. View on different islands and hills.

This beach is lovely & sandy, with clean, clear water. Although packed with sunbeds, the beach extends far enough to enjoy a good walk & get away from the crowds. We visited early June when it was quieter. Sunsets here are amazing & the beach is the perfect place to enjoy them. Water sports are available & staff are friendly& helpful.
