I think this hill is on the Bath City Skyline Walk route. Worth a look even if you're not taking the whole walk. Go over the bridge in town, up the hill, take a turning off to your right signposted Bath Skyline Walk. If you're...More

Need to get out of the city. This is one of several places to do it. The views are great, especially around sunset and the walk is refreshing.

Walked up on a dull day, with virtually no one else around. Saw three pairs of skylarks. Met an informed walker who pointed out what we could see in the amazing vista, including the distant White Horse, as well as the city of Bath and...More

It can be a little tricky to drive and park to this place but it is a great stroll around. There are public footpaths that join up to this hill though. get out the OS Map.

A fairly steep climb up partly through field and tarmacked road (parking is very limited at the top) is rewarded ten-fold by the magnificent views across Bath in one direction, Bathampton Meadows and Bathford in another. Windswept at the top but the flat summit is...More

Parking in the car park at Batheaston it wasn't easy to find the start of the walk up. Once located it's quite a long slog up but well worth it for the stunning views. We walked down the other side then back up and retraced...More

Solsbury hill is the highest point in Bath. Or so i'm told. It's a nice enough hill but if your time in Bath it restricted i'd recommend going on a different walk. For locals, if you haven't climbed this thing, are you really a local?
