While in Greece in July 2017, my husband and I discovered the beautiful town of Megalochori Santorini. I admired the shop from the street. I could not help myself from going in. The feeling of love and pride of the amazing craftsmanship is felt immediately. I bought my first cork bag that day. I can’t wait for the day I can go back and see them all again. I have bought several bags from them since. Great gift ideas! My friends and family who have been recipients of items have all fallen in love with Sunbeam.Their online, Facebook and Instagram account are fabulous! Order with Sunbeam online is so easy. I live in the USA. My items have always arrived in less than a week.

This shop is by far the best in Santorini for handmade products and the prices are fair. The owners are very kind (Takis & Evi), there is a huge collection of bracelets and bags..I will be back for sure! loved this place

We went to Santorini for the second time for vacation and we didn't miss this shop this time either. We bought gifts there for our friends because we were impressed by the cork products the first time, so we came back to see Takis and Evi and their new collection. We were pleased by the reasonable prices and the welcoming atmosphere.

If you want quality and eco-friendly handmade bags,this is one of the best in the island.The service is super and they have an excellent after sale support in their products!! Highly recommend it!!

Whilst wandering around the small and delightful village called Magalochori, we happened to find SunBeam Handmade.
This great little shop is run by a husband and wife team (husband makes the bags and Evi sells them),
Currently they sell a range of ladies handbags, purses, backpacks etc which are made from cork which is bonded to a fabric making for a very strong and durable product.
The owner is a very helpful young lady who is more than willing to explain, the items which they sell, and plans for additions to the range in 2019.

Tracked down this store based on Tripadvisor reviews, well worth the visit.

This shop is wonderful. The selection of handmade handbags is amazing. Evi runs the shop and is so personable; her husband is the craftsman who is a real talent in design and construction.
The cork purses are like nothing you have ever seen. The cork is from Portugal and comes in large blocks that are taken down and pressed into usable sheets. Some are stained darker and some are natural. All are magnificent and sizes very from clutch type to larger handbags. The linings are rich; there are lots of zippered pockets for cell phones and other ladies stuff. Best of all each one is signed by the artist himself giving each a touch of personality
The prices are very reasonable and if Kate Spade or Michael Kors gets a hold of these the prices will sky rocket.
The shop is a little out of the way in the village but look for the large triple deck bell tower looming over the street and you are close
