Stayed in Analipsi - got a taxi here on a rainy day, with low expectations - actually a great aquarium and worthy of an hour of your day here. Not much in the area though, so it's worth agreeing a taxi pickup time afterwards.

Small and disappointing for the price you pay (10 euro per adult). We went there with 3 years old child (free entrance). The big aquarium is beautiful. she wasn't interested in any thing else. You can spend here one hour, max.

Lots of fish species, a little bit expensive entrance ticket. It is open almost all days during the summer and there are sometimes many groups or schools so that could feel like crowdy. But I visited the aquarium during afternoon and it was great. I...More

Rain, rain and more rain. Decided to take our 3 & 8 year old out and visited here. It was about 10 mins from our hotel and cost €10 in taxi, or €5.80 on local bus each way. Cost €10 per adult, €6 for child...More

We took a group of 5 (3-8 year olds) and they had a fun time. A few interactive exhibitions and things to do. Not as spectacular as some other aquariums around the world but reasonably priced and a good use of time if a wet/windy...More

Visited when we came to Crete in the October half term as the weather wasn’t great one day. Can’t say the aquarium here was anything special or to different to the ones we have in Norfolk. The sharks were good and the tanks were big....More

Don’t waste your money. Tiny tanks over crowded complete nightmare. Dangerous to walk from bus stop. Don’t know how they get away with it.

I’m so sorry David, you’re question is probably not valid anymore, but in case it is: just rent a car. It’s easy driving in Greece. We we’re staying very near at walking distance but have explored a great deal of the island... More
