We stayed just outside Kalyves, but visited most evenings to go to the beach.
There are 2 sandy sections. The Western section is opposite the large supermarket. It is closer to the mountains, so the sun goes down sooner.

Whether you want to lie under an umbrella or play with your family on the sand this beach will be good. Great cafes with sunbeds/umbrellas that won't usually charge if you're eating there and always cheap cocktails on the way home.
Had a great one week all inclusive stay. Very good friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room with excellent sea view (room 124). All public areas very clean and well presented. Food plentiful but hot food often only warm. Daytime activities very good and well run.
Nice sandy beach with lots of bars and restaurants along the back. Warm waters and a gradual slope as you get further out with no rocks. Sun loungers and parasols available, mostly apparently free when buying something from the cafes.

Either way, there’s so many places to just go off and explore whilst snorkelling. Is it your first time to Greece?
