We spend a truly wonderful day at Falassarna Beach. Crystal clear, warm and quite shallow water. Lots of rocks providing shadow, so you don't need to rent a beachchair and umbrella. Personally we preferred it to the very crowded Elafonisi!

Stopped here on our way back from Elofinisi and thought this beach was far nicer! Parasols & sunbeds spread out for hire. The beach does slope to the waters edge. Sandy beach, lovely views. Water sports available too Well worth a visit Showers and changing cubicles available

This beach was perfect. It's long and not crowded and perfect for swimming. The water is made up of emerald rolling waves. I went nearly every day for the 2 weeks I was there. I absolutely loved it and it's really easy to rent umbrellas and sit there enjoying the beach all day. I took the bus from Kissamos 30... More

Unexpected pleasure. Beautiful sandy beach with the most gorgeous blue water which was so clear you could see the bottom from quite a distance out. Not too crowded like the busier Elafonissi beach but just as beautiful. Was like visiting a Caribbean island. The sun beds weren't over priced and there was plenty of them.

Everyone has a favourite and this is mine. I like the liveliness and the relaxed nature all at the same time. The buzzy little beach café is great to sit and have a drink at the base of the slope to enter the small beach. All are welcome an no one is looked down at as you get in some... More

Fabulous!! Visited in May, so sea not too warm. BUT......The beach, coves, everything is lovely. The little taverna is on the beach, really friendly staff, made it wonderful. Have already booked to go and stay there next year.

My wife and I were looking for a nice beach and found this one on the Northwestern part of Crete. This beach is large and very beautiful....seemed like a lot of Greek and Europeans were here. Tons of umbrellas to rent but you must get here early. Drive down the mountain to get here was great...beautiful views so bring a... More
