Beautiful beach, lots of facilities, family friendly. Sandy beach, lots of fish & crabs if you look. Various water sports available. Sun beds vary from 5- 7 Euros, sometimes free. Great place to recharge

It is a lovely beach, perfect for children as it is very gently shelving. You can go out quite far and still only be waist deep. Sandy with lots of sunbeds available. Most are 5 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for the day....More

Small sandy beach with scattered restaurants and water sports. Water was warm and doesn't gave much of a tide! Would describe as a nice safe beach

hello, yes there are still horse and carriages that go thru alykanas to alkes in the evenings, not sure they go up the mountains, but you can visit the villages via the white train.

Hi, the beach where the turtles are is between Laganas and Kalamaki which isn't near the beach as it's the other side of the island. :)
