Lots of history inside this mills.
The person/familly that lived here had, back in early 40/50 electricity when peoplo not far away didn't have from public suplly till late 70's.
They used the mills to cut wood, had a system that carried the wood to be cutted inside like a wagon, and at the same time the milled corn to powder and as said before produced eletricity..
So this is an great peace of history in my homeland.

Accessible location with parking in front of the museum. The museum is closed, I think it only opens on the weekend, it's a shame, but I understand that given the number of visitors during the week it doesn't make up for it. The place where the mills are located is very beautiful but there is no indication of the path to follow. The place is abandoned. It is not possible to access all the mills because the paths are inaccessible. Invested in restoring the mills but, as so often in Portugal, maintenance was forgotten. It's not worth the visit, or go prepared with a scythe.
