Slightly hard to find the curve shop / factory, but succeeded. There are many beautiful curves, big and small things. On the lower floor they sit and braid. Good prices on baskets. Nice little trip from Funchal

I'm sorry our guide did give us the name of the family that originally opened the factory but I believe it has changed family ownership a couple of times due to hard times, the factory has been in operation for over a hundred years and you can stil see the people weaving the baskets on your visit.
