This point was the extreme westerly point our tour of the South West of the island. The views were excellent, it was a shame that the exhibits in the light house museum were not in English.

We didn't visit the Lighthouse itself, we walked around and had a nice view of the coast and the sea.

Is easy to get there. There are good signaling and good roads, so it can be worth being able to visit the small museum (free) and see the views from the lighthouse, but is less interesting than other parts of the island

A car would be the best option. Well also a motorcycle. Depends how you prefer it ;)
