Probably one of the best golf course we have played. Like all clubs in this area it’s struggling because of Coronavirus with no Chinese or South Koreans travelling, so it was a surreal experience for us. Anyway best caddies ever brilliant course maintained to the highest standards, a great club house with great facilities.

The course layout is indeed World class and deserves to be recognized as the best in Vietnam. However, we were both very disappointed with the greens - they were painfully slow, certainly not worthy of the golf course design. If you want to retain a reputation for a great golf destination and provide value to your golf visitors, the greens must be corrected to run at 10-12 on the stimpmeter - only then can you really boast you are a World Class Golf destination. Please pass this feedback on to your General Manager and Golf Professional. The caddies were excellent and good company

again 1.5 hrs from Danang and well worth it. Great layout and off the whites very achievable. No wonder why best golf course in Vietnam in 2019. Th caddies Dieu and Phoung were delightful in conversation and the course. both knew their distances and putting they made the difference. well done Laguna Golf.

Our party of four from the UK had a fabulous 17 day golf and cultural tour of Vietnam in November 2019, in good weather. Excellent courses: BRG Kings Island, near Hanoi Laguna Golf Lang Co, near Hue Ba Na Hills near Hoi An The Bluffs, on the coast, south east of Ho Chi Minh City Very Good courses: Tam Dao, near Hanoi Montgomerie Links near Hoi An These six were beautifully designed, interesting courses, well maintained, and with great clubhouse facilities. Green fees are more reasonable on weekdays than weekends, and the courses were not too busy. There is a standard process at all the clubs. On arrival at Reception you are given a locker key and assigned a caddy. During your game you charge any expenditure (drinks on the course, lunch in clubhouse etc) to the locker key number and you settle up with Reception when you leave. Your caddy counts your clubs on arrival and departure and you sign for them. Everything works well. Throughout Vietnam you are obliged to take buggies and caddies (who stand on the back of the buggy). The caddies, mostly young women, are well trained, helpful with distances and putting lines, and delightful company. Standard tip is $15 per caddy – in local currency (they do not want USD). However, I personally find that 8 people playing golf is 4 too many and I prefer having to do the thinking about distances and putts myself to feel I’m playing my own game; for this reason alone I would hesitate to return to Vietnam for another golf trip, though I can see the point about it providing local employment. The only poor course we played was Paradise, Vung Tao - give it a miss - daft design and woolly fairways.
